Ornament Swag'Ornament Swag' is an original fine art scratchboard ACEO miniature drawing in full color. The scratchboard size is 2 1/2 in x 3 1/2 in. This tiny miniature artwork was done with an exacto blade on black scratchboard. Very fine lines were used to lay out the drawing and then broader strokes were used to remove the black ink for detail, color and highlights. To add the colors, I used opaque watercolors and a small brush. Metallic gold and silver paint was used on some of the ornaments, though that does not show well in the images below. Please note that the squiggly line effect is caused by digitizing the image for the internet. The lines on the actual drawing are smooth. The colors in the drawing will vary depending on monitor settings. All the colors are very rich and vivid. ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals) are collectable, tradable and affordable. Measuring 2.5 in x 3.5 in they will fit in any standard trading card album and they are also ideal for framing. Use your imagination to create great ways to display these little treasures!
