After the Storm

'After the Storm' is an original fine art miniature scratchboard drawing in black and white. The scratchboard size is 4 in x 6 in. This miniature artwork was done with an exacto blade on black scratchboard. I love experimenting with different ways to create effects in my drawings. In this drawing, I used tiny dots or stippling to create the sky, with several small lines to highlight the sunshine on the clouds. Please note that the squiggly line effect is caused by digitizing the image for the internet. The lines on the actual painting are smooth.
